Godox officially launched in the Philippines on August 19, 2025, with an immersive event at Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City. The launch, hosted by JG Distribution and timed with World Photography Day, brought together hundreds of creatives for a hands-on experience with Godox’s latest professional lighting innovations.

A Celebration of Creativity

More than just a product demonstration, the launch event celebrated the vibrant creative community in the Philippines. The program featured opening remarks from JG Distribution’s Founder and Vice President, Jill Tan. Ally Xiong of Godox Global also shared insights, and Godox Philippines Brand Manager Mulawin Galang delivered a product presentation.

The event gained credibility with testimonial videos from two of the country’s leading equipment rental companies, CMB Film Services Inc. and RSVP Film Studios. Kirk Baltazar of CMB highlighted the brand’s dominance by sharing that “the majority of the lights we are now using are Godox.” Meanwhile, Rafa Laperal of RSVP Film Studios explained how Godox lighting has improved their workflow and provided a dependable solution for their most challenging projects. These endorsements proved Godox is a reliable partner for professionals and industry leaders.

The afternoon wrapped up with the official signing of the new Godox Ambassadors, demonstrating the brand’s dedication to local creators. As evening fell, the celebration ramped up with interactive “touch and try” stations, special promos, raffle prizes, and a lively performance by OPM favorite Mayonnaise.
