The Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers of the Philippines, Inc. (AFAD) opens Part 2 of the 31st Defense & Sporting Arms Show (DSAS) today, Tuesday, November 18. The recognized firearms showcase will run until November 21 at the SM Megamall Trade Hall in Mandaluyong City, welcoming visitors from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Continuing the momentum from the successful July DSAS (held in Pasay), this November event at the SM Megamall Trade Hall in Mandaluyong unites approximately 40 exhibitors. Attendees can explore the newest firearms innovations and accessories, supporting AFAD’s ongoing campaign for responsible and educated gun ownership.

According to AFAD’s Aric Topacio, the event is designed to pair modern exhibits with a renewed focus on the core values of safety, discipline, and responsible gun ownership.

“DSAS isn’t only a venue to showcase the latest hardware – it’s equally a platform for learning.” Topacio said. “Our goal is to help attendees build awareness, strengthen their skills, and better understand the responsibilities of gun ownership. That commitment to education is what sets this show apart.”

The DSAS program goes beyond exhibits by featuring focused talks and demonstrations on safe handling, maintenance, and responsible ownership. This comprehensive approach helps attendees gain both product familiarity and the essential safety foundations required of every gun owner. Crucially, the show also acts as a convenient one-stop-shop, with law enforcement agencies present to assist visitors with applications for their License to Own and Possess Firearm (LTOPF) and Firearm Registration (FR).

The DSAS features a robust lineup of exhibitors, including (but not limited to):

  • Trust Trade
  • PB Dionisio & Co. Inc.
  • Squires Bingham International Inc.
  • Twin Pines, Inc. (Tactical Corner Inc.)
  • Nashe Enterprises
  • Hahn Manila Enterprises
  • Shooters Guns and Ammo Corp.
  • Metro Arms Corporation
  • Armscor Shooting Center
  • Jethro International Inc.
  • Stronghand Incorporated
  • Final Option Trading Corporation

Topacio noted that beyond the wide array of products and services, DSAS remains an important space that brings together the entire firearms community.

At its heart, DSAS is about community,” he said. “It’s where curious first-timers, hobbyists, sport shooters, industry players, and public servants from relevant government agencies come together to exchange ideas and strengthen a shared culture rooted in safety, respect, and accountability”

AFAD’s commitment to the firearms sector is clear: The Defense & Sporting Arms Show continues to raise standards by serving as the nation’s key platform for promoting safety, education, and camaraderie among Filipino gun owners.
