Nearly 7,000 runners, families, pets, and fitness enthusiasts gathered at the Filinvest Event Grounds for the kickoff of the EastWest Dream Run 2026 Manila leg. Organized by RUNRIO, the sold-out event marked the first phase of a nationwide four-city running series promoting health, wellness, and active lifestyles.

Now in its second year, the EastWest Dream Run featured competitive and recreational categories, including 21K, 10K, 5K, 3K, and the popular 1K Dog Run. High demand led to early sell-outs for both the 21K half-marathon and 5K distance options.

The women’s division delivered a historic podium sweep by mothers, illustrating strength, balance, and athletic success.

Event Highlights & Race Village Experience

The family- and pet-friendly fun run featured a vibrant post-race environment at the Filinvest grounds:

• 1K Dog Run: A crowd-favorite distance featuring pets and costumed participants.
• EastWest Horizons Recovery Lounge: Provided dedicated post-race massage and physical recovery support for finishers.
• Raffle Giveaways: EastWest and event sponsors distributed over ₱500,000 in raffle prizes, including hotel staycations, theme park passes, home appliances, fitness gear, and shopping vouchers.
